About Transgender Detroit

Newly Incorporated in 2006, Transgender Detroit has bonded a handful of dedicated volunteers to support and facilitate services for the Transgender Community in the Detroit Metropolitan area. Educating the general community on the issues, concerns, and facts of being Transgendered is a continuing goal for all of the members. Our recent efforts have been in the areas of:

  • Involvement in restroom issues with a local restaurant and their clients.
  • Career Resume and Interview Classes.
  • A TGDetroit benefit celebrating Christine Jorgenson’s birthday.
  • Job Fair
  • Urban Youth Outreach
