Michelle is co-founder of Transgender Detroit. She’s also a member and works with PFLAG Detroit for transgender support for familes and friends. Additional labors of love include belonging on the Triangle Foundations’ Pride Pac committee and directing the Transgender Support Group at Affirmations in Ferndale, where she was awarded the Jan Stevenson Award for volunteer of the year. Previous years have found her holding a seat with TransGender Michigan Board of Directors as well as Crossroads Board of Directors.
