Our saddest moments were met when we found that we’d lost Jamie on the morning of June 8th. There will be a great void in the hearts of those that knew Jamie, and her unique but genuine way of always making you feel like someone really cared and always welcomed you. She will be missed by a devoted and loving wife Michelle, and by a lot of friends that just loved her for her individuality. Jamie is a co-founder of Transgender Detroit. Her latest projects found her co-facilitating the Affirmations Transgender Support Group and working with PFLAG Detroit. Previous years efforts gained her position as Vice President of Crossroads as well as serving on the TransGender Michigan Board of Directors.
